Please consider that even if they put in $20k at those prices (a significant sum for most), that would have only net them 5,000 shares and a paltry 250 $0.75 options. I can understand why people may not bother with the admin of buying and selling shares for the sake of a couple hundred bucks.
I would not be surprised if there are many other shareholders in a similar position (i.e. underwater with rather low option holdings).
