When i was 11 years old my grandmother gave me a kid goat to raise. Now this goat had nothing going for it. It did the dumbest things, was smelly and dirty. Every time i tried to feed it, even with the best quality apples in the supermarket that i had paid a premium price for, it just charged, kept head butting rejecting the hand that fed it.
Now, for my 13th birthday my father gave me a rilfe. I had nothing to shoot so i shot the goat.
My mother was horrifed. She told me that dumb usless scruffy old goat would one day come back and haunt me.
