The problem is that Rio can't go above 20% without making an official take-over. Currently Rio owns ~83m shares (15%) and including their options they will have 19.99% of SVM shares. Makes little sense to buy now...what...3.2m shares???
Maybe I'm wrong but highly unlikely...and if it was them we will know v v soon.
