The plans include an estimated $80 million investment in operational upgrades, which are currently underway to improve product quality and plant utilization. Our goal is to restart operations in 2023.1 In addition to our equity interest in the project, Piedmont holds an offtake agreement to purchase the greater of 113,000 MT or 50% of production of spodumene concentrate per year from the projects in Quebec.
