Unfortunately the stars of sales were not lining up and capital being necessary… they had little to no alternatives.
It will be something of an albatross at some point unless this thing REALLY takes off. That is something that cannot be discounted either. After reading that Nickel superalloy paper yesterday, this technology holds great promises. The turn around in comparison to legacy methodology is huge.
The old adage, “Time is money” comes to mind as well as the reduction in material dunnage in the creation phase (which aids in the time is money thing..)
Too many big names in industry have signed up for this to go south so it’s a story worth reading and partaking in.
As each of these milestone press releases come out, It has me more firmly planted.
This is actually a very exciting investment.
