The announcement clearly states that the options are employee incentive scheme.
It also states they are not held by management.
Some are being converted 8 years early.
This to me is a positive as mile stones HAVE TO BE MET to convert.
Wow mile stones met eight years early. This is the positive as I myself will see this announcement. $$$
The talk of capital gains tax etc. using Australian tax laws would not apply, as all recipients are not subject to Australian tax, they all work overseas.
