Hartleys from Perth gave a valuation in 2016 for PDN’s 75% share of LHM as being US$884m. Assuming Hartley's is correct, to build the complete mine would cost about $1.2billion.They are obviously biased but even so, an amount of $500m (for 75%) has been mentionned in the media several times. Frankly, I just can't believe that PDN's 75% share of a mine that took years and years to plan and build is only worth $500m. To build a uranium mine today is almost an impossible venture taking many years of government/public consultations and costing hundreds of millions. Budgets (and commencement timelines) are usually blown apart once the mine is actually up and running. I just don't get it.
