I gotta say, credit to the subcontractors in this case - especially the ones owed substantial $$$.
Taking the view you would rather get less money and force liquidation so that a liquidator has to investigate and can recommend charges is a big move and a step in the right direction. The only way to clean up the boards is to keep them accountable.
