Maybe don't panic just yet. As another poster pointed out:

Heavy dilution will result, but (at least) they will have a new substantial shareholder, a new board, new management and a fresh start with an experienced Li operator leading the way."

He has a point. Given the projections, if you simply hold for a long period, you might get all of your money back, and more (after several years).
