i purchased packages of CLH as a barefoot investor. admittedly put to much of my portfoilio into this one as they had always warned never to to do. I took a 20k hit over the 2 years, lucky balanced by some wins. Lessons to be learnt from this include, even some of the best stock pickers can get it badly wrong, never over indulge in one stock or be prepared to take on the risk, take the loss when a stock is damaged and not wait until the very end and more generally, this stock picking game is hard yakka and an be aware of businesses considered to have poor ethics. Lack of comment over the years from barefoot was disappointing, they said they would keep in contact with members, but i count 1 communication since closing. very loose on his word i have realised.
