I'm pleased for you Aesi, you've finally come to your senses.
When you have a look at the top twenty shareholder as of the 31st August 2021 you will notice that quite a lot of the large holders are New Zealanders. And I would say that Mr Phipps has had a lot to do with their purchases. Every year his has moved his holding upwards which also means he is a believer in what EWC are offering in the way of product. That in itself is a positive, and with him being on the board he may (and I only say may) be able to keep all us long holders some useful early information.
He only has a holding of 34,393,743 shares on that list, so he must be holding another 112,904,558 somewhere else on that list. I can't remember seeing a ASX announcement re him being a 5% holder. I hope he's not holding it with some of the banks that the shorters hang out with.
He would now become the second New Zealand company to hold 5% of this company.
