On paper, the new CEO, Phil Bishop, appears to be a good fit. According to the release, Phil has a career in retail and was director of merchandise and marketing at Bunnings and the COO of Officeworks. A good breadth of experience that hopefully can translate to growth at TRS.
Additionally, it will be interesting to see the impact any extended economic downturn has on the revenue of TRS, which I believe is a defensive stock.
