Personally I think this is a good announcement. You and others have been complaining (and probably rightfully so) about the lack of communication. I would think that this would be a good positive change which we should at least give a chance.
Don't let your anger at the board make you see all that they do as negative.

This guy also has good contacts by the sounds of it, that he can hopefully get some large investors interested.

Just because they have appointed him, does not mean that the Managing Director search has stopped and it was clearly noted that the new Managing Director would then hire the CEO, which I think is also a positive as will hopefully bring a change to the long term management group bringing in a truly independent CEO.

We need to change the sentiment on here so the good things are at least still heard. Lets give him a chance and see what he can do.
