EVN have had a procession of people through the Technical Services Manager role in recent years (and they've all gone I believe), and while I am not a fan of yet another executive overhead in the bloated Sydney Office, I have been saying for a while that they need some new thinking and this is an important role for EVN's future. They need to be thinking long and hard about growth opportunities (preferably in Australia) via either smart acquisitions, JVs, or development, and making some hard decisions on assets such as Red Lake. Hopefully she can see where value exists and proves to be one of the sharper tools in the EVN shed - I wish her well and no doubt she has been dealing with the mining boys club for years based on her background.
