The other thing Is that CATL has raised billions earlier in the year to fund battery tech expansion. The geopolitical situation has reved up significantly since then. IMHO battery metals are strategic in the sense that they will be the key driver of energy and energy transition in the near term. The competitive advantages that they afford to early adopter countries are compellingly. This will only serve to heighten the importance of Australia's lithium miners in the overall Energy equation.
