I think Rosey's question about jobs for the boys is a very valid and fair question. In a public forum we should consider these things.
I for one, question John Anderson's management skills in the last 9 months. He's managed to discover an amazing ore body more than 12 months ago, but has he managed to get maximum value for shareholders? IMO no, partly because he has misread and/ or disregarded the market.
I also question his own priorities. I think he knows himself, and anyone watching one of his presentations, that he lacks some skills to be one of the best MD's in Australia. He's on a very good salary, and holds some power so he may well be very interested in his own longegivity over shareholder value. Jobs for the boys is a valid question when in this context.
I'm in this totally because of Paris. Eventually I think we will see some value. I just hope John presses the right buttons like this appointment appears to be. He has to get the market interested again.
