You don’t seem to see that a shift of inventory from the LME to the USA has not increased global demand, nor that once the shift has occurred the increase in competition on the LME ceases.
Mine closures are a positive, agreed. Tariffs are a negative (except for for some in the USA). Plus if they actually cause mine openings or expansions in the USA then that is obviously a negative for the global price, just as mine closures are a positive.
