A good idea and probably the excuse they will go with to cover their incompetence (more wasted money but this brand now stinks thanks to them), however, usually that would be announced to the market well in advance and why would you let it go well before hand when you really need a presence especially when you need funds and need investors to see a presence. Or maybe it’s as simple as “take down the website because it’s embarrassing that we have nothing to show that’s new for the last year.”
