I think this move is more about surviving the Ramcap meeting on the 12th. The Shareholders' meeting on the 13th has a resolution to remove any directors appointed between the date of the meeting announcement and the actual meeting itself. The Ramcap crew did not include this resolution, so even if they were to get rid of the three initial directors, they would then still be stuck with Peter Zeigler on the board.
