When he got promoted to COO last October the release said “Howie’s role will be expanded to include responsibility for all commercial, manufacturing, medical affairs and regulatory activities.” So he’s probably done a lot to earn the CEO role and they are acknowledging that. Looking back, he did all the webinars. This was probably on the cards for a while.
