LFP batteries is on trend with global battery demand
Based on this announcement, it appears there will be no input from China whatsoever although some proposals from other companies have proposed some chinese input...
This poses a risk for the Canadian govt if they permit such JV's as it exposes them to possible US rejection of its batteries as it tightens its future mandated EV sourced components to friendly countries only. I cant see Canada agreeing to that...
LU7 in-house expertise appears to be a risk free solution for Canada.
