I followed JML with its VMS exploration & the drilling of some rather deep holes, and all included, they were horribly expensive, especially with checking orientation all the time....that adds hourly costs as well as metres for the large diameter coring. Imagine the cost of core-cutting and assaying an 800m dd core, never mind the drilling, mobilisation costs,& assays etc. I havent got a price list and am years out of touch, but maybe you have the time to ring up & get a few quotes in current prices?
Get a quote from a driller to take his rig & support vehicles, say 600 km each way & drill a 800 m hole.
Find the transport costs for the core to the lab. Get a quote for the core-cutting & assays, and add them all up.
It'll be an expensive hole.
