It does appear odd, perhaps it's personal or health reasons but usually that is noted down as a reason within the announcement. May have been an inner conflict within the board? - I am really unsure.

Left field for sure. I imagine left field for Chris too by how the announcement reads.

My apologies for absence in forums, real life priorities have pinched my time and focus, but thought this was a key announcement to add my 2c to.

I wonder if any other news comes to be from this, although reads more along the dismissal side than personal health reasons - purely speculatory.
