ok Sydney, I see that you are passionate about investing in companies that return a profit which I am sure 85% of those on the ASX are trying to do. There are 15% who are manipulating they current systems to enrich themselves at the costs of shareholders with hair brain schemes that never eventuate and people get hurt along the way. is LIO one of the 15%, maybe? I am not sure but what they have been able to do so far is produce something that is generating cashflow, in the right sphere for hydrogen production and they know that what the governments of the world, and in particular Australia, is produce green energy, to meet the needs of a growing energy hungry world with whatever resources they have at their disposal.
You mentioned coal, of which Australia has a lot - at a very high purity. What Australia wants to do with this coal is produce hydrogen to power vehicles and electricity needs in a way that doesn’t release more carbon into the atmosphere. Dr Dicks has spent the last 30 years of his life researching, developing and promoting hydrogen fuel cells. This is what the world wants. Cities where you can live in where the air is clean and free of pollution produced from combustion engines. To achieve this goal they (world governments, UN, world bank, China Belt Initiative etc) willing and able to pay a premium and invest in the infrastructure needed to produce and provide hydrogen fuel cells.
Dr Dicks would have be solicited by a bunch of energy producing hydrogen fuel cell hungry ASX companies to come onboard and help them enter the burgeoning marketplace. He is came to LIO. I think we are going to see something big come out of this little company in the next year and I think you know it too. LIO knows about gas production and exploration. They have an asset which they have not been able to figure out what to do with and they have done the math and believe that they may be able to produce hydrogen with it. Dr Dicks is the person who will be able to help them do it.
The price of producing hydrogen is high, as with any new tech.
My personal reason for believing in the tech is that Toyota along with the Japanese government are investing huge resources in it along with all the other zaibatsu which are already investing in projects here in Australia.
Australia has a huge coal resource they would like to convert into hydrogen fuel cells. Indonesia has vast resources they would like to convert into non polluting fuel cells. China is already heavily invested in doing whatever they can to clean their huge cuties up.
Is LIO going to be part of this hydrogen initiative? I know they are trying to be. They have a resource already that they can use. Did they issue a huge amount of shares for themselves and their friends? Yes they did. Are they going to make some game changing announcements in the next year? Perhaps, which is why I am looking for an entry point.
I like your points Sydney, and your passion for holding these entities accountable for producing something tangible for their shareholders, as I am too.
The question for me is when to get onboard and what they are going to come up with.
