Agreed. I really think that someone with actual mining experience should be running it when the position is filled permanently (and also suitably experienced representation at Board level!). That said, in the short term, I hope it doesn't stop them from pushing the button on the restart. The mining plan is in place and the Mine Manager (ex-IGO's Long) is well-credentialed enough. I've been told there are other on-ground staff who are capable of performing the required operational stuff. To what extent and how many still need to be recruited, I don't know. I'm still at a loss why RD was originally appointed with only a three-month notice period. I have my theories...
