I think this is a good move - Denning is highly motivated and heavily invested. If they went to market now they aren’t going to attract the ideal candidate however this gives them time to build contracts and establish a foothold in the US and then they should attract an experienced CEO to drive the growth ideally located in the US.
other upside is Denning has taken his entire salary in shares so less cash burn for the company, he has been purchasing on market, taking placements and now takes his salary in shares. Not many $5m Mcap companies have directors doing this.
