Not sure on the companies strategy around this change to be honest @exchanger . I suspect with John Hannaford leaving it opened a door to a director position so he will sit on the board as opposed to reporting to the board.
I see he gets a pay rise of $6k to $156 per annum.
What I do like is that with Shareholder approval he will get 10mil unlisted options which means he will be considerably motivated to see the company progress and SP rise.
He also has great experience which suits our company projects very well.
I know it's frustrating not seeing SP do well over the last 12 months or so but keep reminding yourself that this is an early stage exploration company where investing is risky. With this risk comes high reward and if they hit paydirt the company could be one drill hole away from what you term. 'sheetco' into a small cap market darling
