After demerger let’s say FFX takes a (IDK) 7 cent hit as the li value is transferred (and multiplied with partnership and confirmation of development) ... he’ll need to make that 7 cents back+ another 15 cents.

Unless the 15 cent trigger is hit prior to demerger. Probable if news is out on development of lithium via partnership IMO.

If it’s the later case - undeserved bonus for the new Dr.
If it’s then former somehow and based on gold only certainly achievable given gold production numbers forecast. But still a solid performance reward IMO.
