The real worry now, though, is not with Anderson, it's with Cowden now, because this shows he may have "delusions of grandeur (DoG)", and anyone with this syndrome is not able to determine objective reality, in other words, what is "currently" real and what isn't. These people live in the future, based on their projected hopes, but apply it to the present. This is dangerous, because they are unable to discern what is "current objective" reality.
He has awarded Anderson a pay scale as if FFX is a $500k+ market cap company producing 200,000 oz per annum. This is what happens with DoG people, they deal with the present as if it's 5 years in the future (based on projected hopes), rather than what the actual real-world reality is right now.
Is he aware that FFX only has a $160m market cap, and it will soon lose the Lithium project out of that as well. What will Anderson be left with, probably a $110m market cap gold company for which he's getting salary and bonuses up to $1 million per year - this is totally absurd, it's pure lunacy (and no-one with any common sense can deny it). Just go and look at the CEO salaries on the Pay Scale site, nothing highlights how more crazy this is at FFX - the small-cap millionaire factory.
So, the former CEO was getting $250k for looking after both the gold project and the lithium project (and traveling to Mali), but the new CEO is getting $550k + bonuses of maybe another $500 for looking after just the gold company, in other words, he's getting 200% to 400% more remuneration for looking after half the work - insane! Completely and utterly deranged. Someone inside this company is as mad as hatter if they are trying to pull this off and think it's fair and reasonable.
