I've just finished researching every thing I can find on Michael Anderson. His record is outstanding. I think we are very lucky he has accepted a position with Firefinch. And believe me he would have done heaps of research on us. No way would he leave a 10 year career, where he probably wasn't far from being top dog, for a company he thought did not have very good prospects. To get someone with that experience, worked all over Africa, African financial markets, PhD in mining Geology etc etc, I think is amazing. Look at the experience/qualifications of other mining CEOs, Doc Al has pulled off another feat signing up Doc Mike.

As for the pay, $550k is chicken feed in the mining industry & he has to earn his incentives. A bus driver gets over $100k in Kalgoorlie, I'm actually surprised we got someone of his calibre so cheaply - hope that contract is binding with no cooling off period.
