To answer your question, if you were aware that your resource was/isn't great... why hold? If you lose money on a stock, it boils down to your own actions and devices, not someone else's. Whilst it looks like there were some interesting things happening on your side with PB, someone kept him in his job... Just sounds like a bad scenario for everyone involved. The difference right now with PB is that it appears that he will be kept in check.
