For those who want to research PB, I would suggest looking into his communication and his respect for shareholders at TNG (now TVN)… Like other TNG holders have said, really look into his past so you can make up your own minds. I would also be trying to work out if he has connections with other board members. Are there any conflicts of interest which may have contributed to him landing the MD position? I don’t know anything about SVN but I do not believe PB has a good reputation of constructing an “Independent” board around him.
Anyway, for shareholders sake I hope PB demonstrates a different set of skills and attitude than when he was MD at TNG. I wish you luck, I think you will need it…
