Oh no. Another CEO with FMCG background. No point trying to create a vertically integrated business that is a master of selling fruit if they don’t know how to grow it. I hold CGC but every time I buy their citrus or avocado I regret it.
Dear new CGC CEO,
Please hire someone from 2PH, Delite, Venus, Nutrano or any other Australian mandarin grower to learn how to grow citrus that has acid and flavour. Also, avocado’s need to accumulate dry matter before you harvest them otherwise they only ripen to a consistency similar to the sole of a tennis shoe.
