We now have a Chair who truly believes in Hawsons having invested well prior to being appointed and who appears to be genuinely positive and excited for the future of Hawsons.
I believe that Jeremy Kirkwood's comments regarding the importance of the transition to green steel, "commercial linkages between up and down stream participants", "Hawsons has a strategic resource", "as we seek to determine our partners for completing the BFS" combined with Kirkwood's investment banking experience will see decisions being made that maximise existing shareholder value and an institutional placement causing dilution less likely and a strategic partner funding the BFS much more likely as he will have had plenty of experience doing deals.
I like the positivity in this announcements which is a big change compared to the announcements of 12 months ago. I think Hawsons reset has truly begun and it is back to being focused on the path to production.
