    Calcium carbonate (limestone) is used to precipitate lithium sulphate and make lithium carbonate.

    Calcium hydroxide (slaked lime) is used to precipitate lithium sulphate and make lithium hydroxide. I think LOH-Max uses this as well, but not 100%.
