If a CEO is "removed" from his role you don't hand him the position of marketing the company!
"Hey! I know! Lets put our old bitter CEO that we just knifed into the lead marketing role!"

clearly stepped aside. Sure we dont know why yet, could be personal reasons, could be his location, could be that his skill set wasn't up to the next stage/challenge. But really, after the SDV North Sale, I highly doubt the SDV South deal "delay's" had
anything to do with it.
As for all these claims about the 40 interested parties and still "no deal"?
Well sorry, but official offers were made -
Yes GXY had/has offers - We were already told that. GXY management just didnt accept any of them (yet?). They have made numerous announcements indicating that the deal would not be done unless they received an offer that showed the true value (ie ignoring the current, temporary market conditions), and that until then, GXY has the means to continue with the SDV project alone, so we wont rush into any sub-par deal.
Now
anyone who knows anything about business will realise that the companies negotiating with GXY on SDV will only be able to
justify to their respective boards an offer that is based on the
current market conditions. So even if they wanted to offer more, it is very likely that they cant.
Thus the wait.
Because GXY is in a position that it
can wait.
And as we have been told, the wait DOES NOT mean a delay.
As for the shareprice action today indicating that the new CEO is not a positive?
Its manipulated people! It doesnt mean sheet.
In fact PLS is down the same amount... and if anyone didnt notice, this morning's trade started VERY, VERY slowly, despite this announcment. In fact there was a period where nearly 10 minutes passed with a single trade. Half hour in and we hadnt hit 100,000 shares traded.
My guess is that the bots were switched off while whoever it is running the shorting show held their little office meeting to figure out why the hell they had no idea this was coming, what it meant and how they can go about turning it as negative and fear inducing as possible.
Otherwise known as the normal Thursday Morning Meeting, lol

If this push was due to the CEO news it would have started at the open. It didnt. I guess the shorts had to call up a few more short positions to try and get the quantities they needed to try and give it a little push?
Where in reality, AT goes back to doing what he loves, what he is a natural at. And we get a new CEO with a different skill set that just happens to be very complimentary.
A skill set that, as the announcement states, will lead Galaxy
"as it enters a major growth phase"
That is a major growth phase we all know is coming. Us Long's, the Trader's and the Short's. Each is just here with their own agenda's to position themselves as best they can for what comes next.
Personally, I'm happy to wait.
