I think I agree.

My guess is the recent offers would have seen them leave too much on the table. So it looks like turning the operation around enough to attract better offers.

This is similar to buyers low balling your renovators delight property, and you deciding to capture more of the upside yourself.

I'm expecting this reno to take two to three years from here on in.
