Also, thats only 9 days away, not long if you have to relocate, do some preparation work, actually i think its a very quick start date, wouldn't 2 weeks or a month be pretty common.
And the board has to sign off on the results, its probably a good reason to start her the day after the results than expect her to be seen to be in agreement with everyone at her first meeting (if there is even a meeting in the next 9 days)
