Andrew65, reckon you are right onto it, -it is a whole skill set, certainly rarely found within engineers. Experience has found Sales doesn't lie within technical people that continue on about the development without making a trial close to flush out objections that need to be addressed before wrapping up the order.
Consultants operating within the target industry can be found to help in this regard, -a skilled Director with sales talent is the ultimate. For that reason, I cheered Stephanie's comments within the last paragraph announcing Michael's appointment. GLTA
