This appointment brings useful experience to the Board, expanding the reservoirs that David can use when making important choices about strategic and marketing initiatives, and consequential resource allocation. While I am sure that in the CET division, he draws on both Manuel and Fabian, and in Life Sciences on Gautam and others, it is useful in Board discussions to have a readier understanding that can be shared among its members. As we know from some time back, Glenda had a substantial involvement with our Energy activities, and I can imagine there will be many fruitful exchanges with them both in Board discussions.
