If you did some reading, you'd learn that the gross mismanagement of African governments doesn't happen by coincidence. It's part of a deliberate strategy former colonial powers to continue to have influence and access to resources.

Foreign aid is usually debt or big organisations selling goods as part of trade. When the locals are tired of it, and protest, the colonial powers come in to help squash the rebellion. Just look at the recent sanctions on Mali and what France was trying to do, to get their people into power.

Lets not pretend to be holier than thou. I think some ESG is better than no ESG, but the real solutions are based on a global system of power and control.
