I agree, and I doubt he speaks much Mandarin either.
after many years in the unlisted Platinum Asia fund, I am now out, probably forever.
the Chinese government just cannot be trusted with it's heavy handed corporate regulation and is making
no international friends these days the way it is dealing with Hong Kong, Taiwan, the South China sea,
and also Australia,
furthermore they persist in refusing to allow proper financial auditing of Chinese companies which is a basic
requirement in a properly functioning stockmarket, all in the name of "national security"....yeah right...
so Chinese company accounts can't be trusted either.
