The only reason DM had the tax bill was because he sold the worthless and insolvent private US Buddy to a complicit board of an insolvent ASX resource company for a ridiculously over inflated price of 50 million dollars. Of course, incentives were on top. The option price Buddy received should have been more than enough consideration.
