From many HC comments I deduce his CV makes it possible to produce an opinion that can deflect anyone else's concerns:
1. His lack of CEO experience - not a concern as he's excelled at strategic alliances, contract wins, and has good contacts.
2. His experience being heavily sales focused and not business management/strategic - not a concern as he's excelled at strategic alliances, sales, and has good contacts
3. He's not held a no.1 role - Not a concern as PDVM said ages ago he was offering BRN as an opportunity for someone to prove themselves.
4. Risk we're taking on an unproven CEO - Not a concern. BRN is too small to attract a CEO with a proven track record.
My only strong opinion on the new CEO is he does not have experience in this role. He has lots of experience in most of what will be needed, just not all. And this increases BRN's risk profile.
I hope he goes well. He has the to tools to build a good product, fingers crossed.
