With reference to your comment "SAU is now a pure exploration play", I recall having a discussion with a SAU Board Member a few years ago (post Canon). With reference to the S Korea work, I asked when he thought SAU would be a gold producer again.

His reply was "Oh no, we don't want to be a producer", and with a glint in his eye that reminded me of the Monty Python Lumberjack sketch, he went on to say "we just want to be explorers". It was then I realised I would not be getting any return soon on my investment if ever. If they ever do find anything, they will sell it or JV it, so they can keep "drillin". Forunately that Board member has left and packed up his mule and headed to the goldfields with pick and panner.

I still have hopes for the company, as I prefer to be panglossian than lugubrious. But I always say only invest money here that you can afford to lose, and you can wait a long time. It is a gamble.
