ASIC is taking increased interest in breaches of disclosure obligations of public company directors, here is an example of how they approach the wording on a case just launched and a link to today's media release: "Commissioner Cathie Armour said, “ASIC will take action to disqualify directors and officers who cause a company to contravene its market disclosure obligations, or are involved in the company’s contravention.”
