From my reasonably limited understanding shareholders get ZERO.

Unless someone buys the company as a whole, then the negotiation might be that we get bought out and receive two fifths of F*** All, if it goes private, I doubt we'll get shares in the new entity.

I think the best one can hope for is capital loss against one's tax statement. Not sure if one has to sell the shares to claim this or can utilise the voluntary administration process an outcome to claim.

Perhaps someone with more clout can chime in here?!
