The administrators told me today that there will be an announcement on the ASX "shortly".
The big question is, how soon is "shortly?".
The other bigger question is, will there be any return for "retail" shareholders?
I'm not expecting any return.
I am expecting the company to trade again, with a new name, and minus the Mt Carlton mine.
They'll have some of the current directors still, and probably do a capital raising based on retaining their Victorian projects. Good luck with that raise.
Will the current shareholders retain any shares in the newly named company, or will the slate be wiped clean for the new company, and shareholders get nothing, as often happens?
I'm hoping the "shortly" to be announced ASX notice will answer some of these questions.
