The 2021 resource update was the writing on the wall, The Indicated grade dropped from 8.7% to 7.4%. If you add 8% dilution to that you get a mill feed grade of 6.8%. The stope grades are somewhat close to this and the their grade of 5.7% could easily be explained by a 22% dilution factor rather than something being materially wrong with the model. Also the stopes could be positioned in a below average grade part of the mine but this is unlikely when you are cashing cash flow.
