I know what they mean re.  ANN, but this is misleading. There is not space for me to take this apart. See

Learning in seconds is no use if the data is non-ergodic or non-periodic (e.g. stock market prices).  As Buffet warns : 'Do not invest in a business you do not understand.' Having wool pulled over your eyes and sticking your head in the sand are not recommended investment strategies.
